Within our Andean Wonder 9 days program we will visit the most important sites between the cities of Lima, Ica and Cusco (Machupicchu). From Lima we will travel by bus throughout the Peruvian South visiting the most important places in each department. In Lima we will have a tour of the modern and contemporary area; in Ica we will visit the Ballestas Island, a beautiful place surrounded by marine fauna. Finally we will visit the city of Cusco and its tourist attractions and its imposing Machupicchu.

Itinerary

01:

Reception in Lima

After you step on Peruvian soil our staff will welcome you at Jorge Chavez airport in Lima and drive you to the hotel, where you will be given the indications of our 9 days Andean Wonder Package. City Tour Lima: We will begin the tour with a panoramic view of the “Pucllana Pyramid”, an ancient ceremonial and archaeological center. Then we will go to the Historic Center of Lima. Where we will appreciate what was the old Lima Cuadrada, and colonial buildings within which include the Paseo de la Republica, La Plaza San Martin, La Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, among others. Continuing the tour we will visit the Museum of the Central Reserve Bank (not open Saturday and Sunday). We will also visit the Monumental Complex of San Francisco. Its main attraction is the subway crypts known as the Catacombs. Finally we will go to the Contemporary Zone of Lima where we will appreciate the main buildings and residential areas of Lima, El Olivar de San Isidro, Miraflores, Larcomar and Parque del Amor.

Paracas - Ica - Huacachina Tour

A 3:30 Hrs. Report to Avenida Javier Prado Este 1109 La Victoria (Alt. Clínica Ricardo Palma) – Cruz del Sur Agency. A 7:40 Hrs. transport to the El Chaco-Paracas pier. Visit Paracas – Ballestas Islands. We will arrive at the port of El Chaco in Paracas, from where we will depart in modern aircrafts to the Ballestas Islands. On the way to the islands we will observe El Candelabro located in the bay of Paracas and a small guano dock. Transfer to Ica – City tour Ica: We will visit the main attractions of this beautiful city, including the main square, the village of Cachiche (Cachiche witch and 7-headed tree). Hrs. We will have an explanation of the elaboration of wine and Pisco guided by an experienced worker of the winery. We will taste different types of Pisco, wines and the traditional Cachina. Hrs. Visit to Huacachina Oasis..: After the tour we will live an adventure through the desert of Ica aboard tubular cars going up and down the dunes. We will practice the famous sport of Sandboarding. We will enjoy the wonderful sunset in the Iquitos desert. 17.30 Hrs. End of the tour – Transfer to Ica bus terminal.

City tour Cusco

At the agreed time you will be transferred to the airport in Lima to take the flight to the imperial city of Cusco. City tours Cusco At 1:40 pm, we start our visit from the main square of Cusco Huacaypata, then we will go to the Temple of Qoricancha, built on the basis of the Inca foundation where the god “sun” was worshiped. Maras Moray - Salt mines

A las 8:30 a.m. comenzamos a recogerlo en su hotel para comenzar nuestra aventura hacia Chincheros. En Chinchero a 3780 m.s.n.m. donde visitaremos su mercado tradicional y seremos parte de su cultura y artesanía. Continuing on to the circular terraces of Maras Moray, we will take a colorful tour, passing through very typical villages and beautiful landscapes that we will be able to enjoy. Moray are a set of huge terraces that overlap concentrically in a gigantic pit, these beautiful terraces that served in Inca times as an agricultural laboratory “Greenhouse Prototype”. Finally, we will visit the salt mines located northwest of the town of Maras, which consist of about 2000 small wells with an average area of about 5 m², exploited since Inca times, Colonial times and still being exploited by the locals. After our visit we will return to the city of Cusco.

05:

Montaña de Colores Full Day

At 4:30 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. we will pick you up from your hotel to begin our trip south of Cusco.
We will travel approximately 2 hours to Cusipata to enjoy a delicious breakfast.
Then we will continue for another hour and a half until we reach Vinicunca and start our hike.
The hike will average an hour and a half until we reach the highest point above 5000 meters above sea level, where we can enjoy an impressive view of the “mountain of 7 colors.
After our visit we will return to Cusipata to enjoy a delicious lunch that will comfort us, our adventure of the Vinicunca mountain range.
Then we will return to the city of Cusco where we will arrive at approximately 6:00 pm.

06:

Humantay Lake

At 4.30 am to 5.00 am our transfer will pick you up at your hotel and take you to our departure point.
At 5:00 am we start our departure with the tour guide taking the road to Abancay.
After approximately an hour and a half drive we will arrive at Limatambo from where we will take the detour to Mollepata where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast.
Then we will continue by bus for another hour to Soraypampa. Place where we will get ready for our hike, ascending for approximately 1 hour to the Humantay Lagoon;
After a time to visit and explore the place and the view of the Humantay mountain in the Vilcabamba chain in the Andes in the company of our guide who will explain us about this magnificent place then we will start our way back to Soraypampa to enjoy a delicious lunch and return to Cusco city.
Approximate arrival to the city of Cusco 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm.

07:

Tour To The Sacred Valley Of The Incas

We start with pick up from your hotel at 8:30 am, and then board our tourist bus to the Sacred Valley of the Inkas. After about 30 minutes of travel we arrive at the handicraft center of Corao where we will stop for 20 minutes, then we continue to the town of Pisaq from where we can enjoy a beautiful view of the sacred valley. Once in the archaeological park of Pisaq we will have a 40 minute guided tour of the archaeological park. After the visit we descend to the town of Pisaq and visit its market. Continuing our trip, along the Vilcanota River that runs through the entire Sacred Valley, we move to Urubamba to rest and have time for lunch at a local restaurant prepared with local ingredients. After 40 minutes of rest we continue the trip to Ollantaytambo where we will visit the archaeological park for about 30 to 40 minutes. At the end of our visit to Ollantaytambo we will board the train to Machu Picchu. Where we will spend the night and rest for the next day to visit the most important attractionof Peru “Machu Picchu”.

08:

Visit Machu Picchu Citadel

Machu picchu tour According to the time indicated by our guide we will approach the Consettur bus station to board and start our most desired journey “Machu Picchu”, together with our tour guide we will travel for 2 hours and a half the Inka citadel of Machu Picchu, we will visit the Guardian’s House from where we will have the panoramic view of Machu Picchu with the Huanapicchu, the stone quarry, the temple of the sun, temple of the 3 windows, the agricultural area and the urban area. Train from Machu Picchu – Ollantaytambo. At the end of our guided tour, we will have an average of one hour to rest inside the historic sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Luego tomaremos nuestro bus de regreso a Machu Picchu pueblo. Depending on the departure time of our train, 30 minutes before departure we will board the train to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival in Ollantaytambo our transfer will be waiting for you to take you to Cusco city, ending our tour in San Francisco Square.
