The Paracas National Reserve

The Paracas National Reserve was declared as a National Reserve (ANP) on September 25, 1975, in order to conserve a portion of the sea and the desert that is located in the costs of the Sea of Grau, giving protection to the flora and fauna that live there. Among the wildlife are: the gray gull, pelicans, rayador, arctic plover, the condor, the Humboldt penguin and flamingos, among other species. The fish found in this maritime zone are: sole, white toyo, bonito, ray, cheetah, sardine, anchoveta, grouper, corvina, lorna and many other species. The mammals in this reserve are represented by the sea lions of one hair, the sea lion of two hairs and the sea cat, among others.

Itinerary

01:

TOUR ICA / HUACACHINA OASIS

At 6:00 a.m. we will depart to Ica, we will take the Cruz del Sur bus from Javier Prado Avenue, La Victoria. After 4 hours of travel we will arrive to Ica where our staff will be waiting for us to transfer us to the selected hotel. At the indicated time we will start our first visit:

City Tour in Ica

At 12:30 a.m. approx, our staff will pick you up from the hotel to start the City Tour in Ica, to visit the Witch of Cachiche and the Tree of the 7 Heads, and the Vineyards of Ica.

Visit to a winery:

We will visit an artisan vineyard (taster or grandson), where we will see the whole process of elaboration of the famous Pisco or Grape Brandy. Here we will have an explanation of the process of elaboration of the wine and we will know the plant of production and transformation of the grape, we will also taste the different types of Pisco, wine and cocktails prepared with Pisco.

Visit to the Huacachina Oasis:

After visiting the vineyards we will move to a magical place the Huacachina Oasis, where we can admire the beauty of the lagoon and can perform adventure Tours in Ica. We will practice the famous sport of sandboarding, and the buggy ride through the dunes of Ica, at the end we will enjoy the beautiful sunset of the lagoon and the Ica desert. Hrs. End of the first day of the tour.

PARACAS / BALLESTAS ISLAND TOUR

06:45 Hrs. You will be picked up from your hotel to start the trip to Paracas.

Ballestas Islands.

From the Chaco Port we will depart in modern boats to Ballestas Island, on the way we will observe the famous Candelabro and a Guanero pier, arriving near the island we can appreciate one of the wonders of nature and marine wildlife such as Humbolt’s Penguins, Parihuanas, Flamingos, sea lions and many other species of birds. At the end of the tour we will return to the port of Chaco.

Paracas National Reserve.

At approximately 11:00 am, we will start our visit to the Paracas National Reserve. We will visit the rocky formation known as the Cathedral, with its new shape after the earthquake, then we will visit Playa la mina with crystal clear waters and white sand, the beaches of Red Beach, and Lagunilla beach, in the latter we can take a swim in its calm waters and Playa la mina with crystal clear waters and white sand. At the end of the tour we return to Paracas to take the bus to Lima, arrival approx. 10:00 pm and transfer to your hotel. END OF OUR SERVICES.
